Cool Zone Wine Wrap is the only product that maintains just the right temperature for either white or red wine.
Most experts agree that most white wines should be served at approximately 50°F and most red wines should be served at approximately 62°F, exactly the temperatures that Cool Zone Wine Wrap maintains. There are good reasons for this belief.
Most people serve white wine directly from the refrigerator, which is usually around 40°F. This is too cold for serving. If a white wine is too cold, it won't have much bouquet. Frozen or chilled foods don't have much or any aroma, and neither does very cold wine. White wine is best at 50°F - cool enough to bring out the wine's flavour, but not so cold that the bouquet disappears and the wine loses its distinct characteristics.
Most people stick to the rule that red wine needs to be served at room temperature. But, what is room temperature? When this rule came about hundreds of years ago room temperature was based on a drafty stone chateau, not our warm, comfortable 70°F living rooms. No red wine will show off to full advantage at this temperature. If a red wine is too warm, you will taste more tannin and alcohol and less fruit. The wine can give you a "hot" taste in your mouth.
